Travel Spotlight: Boppy (and Giveaway!)

When asking my good friend (who has traveled twice cross country with her baby at 4 months and 6 months of age) for travel tips, her first one was "Bring a Boppy."

She went on to say how the Boppy saved her arms as it kept her baby comfortable during the five hour flight. She nursed during take-offs and landings, so she used her Boppy to help position her son as well as serve as a cushion for her baby's head against the hard metal armrests. During wait times at the airport, she found a quiet corner and spread a blanket and had her baby lounge in the Boppy, giving her arms a much needed break.

Since getting a Boppy for this review, it has been by breastfeeding best friend, and I have started to take it on our weekend trips to grandma's house. Not only have we been using the Boppy for feeding, but we have also been using it for a lounge pillow for Bean.

I have found that the Boppy isn't just for Bean--I have also used it as a pillow for when we are on the road in the car and I have started to use it as a laptop rest (yes, I know this may look a bit funny, but it works!).

About the Boppy: The Boppy pillow has a Miracle Middle Stretch Panel that allows it to fit waists of all sizes. The pillow is machine washable (wash on delicate with cold water, dry on low heat with a tennis ball to help keep shape). Boppy has a variety of slipcovers for your pillow--you can buy covers to match your nursery or personal style. The covers easily slip on and off for easy washing with a zipper closure. I recommend buying two covers so that you have another cover while one is in the wash.
