Travel Spotlight: DreamSacks (and Giveaway!)

When I travel, comfort is a priority. I want to wear something that is not only breathable, but and soft to the touch, but also is a style that will easily transition from the airport to sightseeing in town.

DreamSacks is a company that specializes in making clothing, bedding, and travel products out of natural fibers including silk, bamboo, soy, and cashmere. Their original product, the DreamSack was developed when owners Nancy and Larry Morgan lived and traveled overseas. To prepare for the sometimes iffy sleeping conditions, Nancy sewed together sheets and used them while traveling. DreamSacks were further developed to be made out of silk as they are lighter, more compact, and thermodynamic.

DreamSacks has expanded their line to include other travel products such as silk travel pillowcases, an airline comfort set, and a luxury travel kit. With the luxury travel kit, you can enjoy first class comfort no matter where you sit. The set includes a silk/cashmere blanket (42"x76"), soft and soothing charmeuse silk eyeshades, and an outer bag that reverses to a pillowcase.

DreamSacks sent me their BambooDreams Circle Top and a BambooDreams short sleeve tee for Mr. Bean to wear on our get-away. The first thing that I noticed was how silky soft the tops are. Both are made of 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex for that added comfy stretch).

What I love about the Circle Top is that because of the slight ruched style at the neckline and waist, it is easy to pack as wrinkles don't really show on it. The elastic is comfortable (especially important if I am going to sit for hours on a plane) and I love how the top flows as I move.

The Bamboo Dreams Baby Short Sleeve Tee has a lap shoulder design which makes it so it is easy to pull on and off. Mr. Bean has a big head, so I love this feature! I found the fit to run true to size, if not a little generous. The best part about this super soft tee is that it is pesticide free!
