When Missy Reder, the Owner/Creator of Baby Bond contacted me to review the Baby Bond, I was eager to give it a try. I was sent the Baby Bond Flex in Night. The first thing that I noticed was that the material is super soft and comfy (it's made of 100% cotton and is machine washable). The fit was good and I feel that the sizing chart was pretty accurate to find my size. (The Original and Flex styles come in four sizes. The Couture style is one size to give you a custom fit as your body continues to change after baby arrives).
What makes the Baby Bond unique is that it keeps you covered without having to cover up baby. Baby Bond has two layers of fabric that you simply separate to achieve latch on. The fabric will keep you covered from above and below. Check out this short video to see Baby Bond in action (Slurp & Burp is the original name before it was rebranded to Baby Bond):
To test drive the Baby Bond, I took it with me on a road trip to visit family this past weekend. At the rest stop, I easily slipped it on and separated the fabric for Bean to latch. Bean loved to run his hands along the soft fabric and I noticed that he nursed longer because he could see around him. I felt that the coverage was good so the nursing session was nice and relaxed.
I no longer have to burp Bean afterwards, but the included removable burp cloth for the Flex was nice to use to wipe him up after his lunch. When we were all finished nursing, I simply wrapped the Baby Bond and stored it back in it's matching pouch for our next nursing stop.
I wish that I discovered Baby Bond earlier in my nursing as I would have saved a lot on expensive nursing tops and covers that just get pushed aside by Bean. At least I have it for Baby number 2 as well as until Bean is weaned!

I'd choose the Couture in Riviera. My 2 mo old is fine with using a nursing cover for now, but it is certainly inconvenient sometimes... I love how stylish these are.
