Sterling Launches Listen-Along Storybook (and HUGE Giveaway!)

Sterling, a leading publisher of children's books, has just launched Listen-Along Storybook , a website and iTunes podcast. Over at listenalongstorybook.com, you can download audio books of eight of the most popular Sterling picture books such as Cesar Takes a Break and Jack and the Beanstalk.

I listened to Cesar Takes a Break and I loved the music and character's voices that embellished the story and helped to bring the book alive. I personally love audiobooks as it gives children an opportunity to practice their listening skills, as well as to help build language skills and vocabulary. Audiobooks such as Cesar Takes a Break also help to pique a child's interest in reading as a source of pleasure.

Check out Listen-Along Storybook and download podcasts or listen in streaming audio for free. Then take the podcasts along with you and play them in the car, the doctor's office, or on the plane. Watch as your child follows along with their own picture book (available for purchase at Barnes and Noble) and become amazed as literacy comes alive!
