Too funny!! The Hubs and I now have a system... I read the instructions, and then tell him in "man" language what he's supposed to do. I have the analytical mind and he has the practical/handy mind. It actually works out pretty well, come to think of it. Although putting a desk chair together once, we did put the back on upside down once because they have you do it upside down, which is very confusing when you are looking at it! They really do put extras in there sometimes (but I always check the count on the parts list first - I'm kind of CDO like that -- you know what that is: it's like OCD, but alphabetical.... like it SHOULD be!!) Have a good week! :-)

Oh, I remember the days having to assemble toys for my daughter. The worse was the Barbie Dollhouse. Bless her dad, he stayed up all night putting that dollhouse together. It was incredible.

With my grandson's toys, I've learned to ask about the assembly before I leave the store. We purchased his firetruck from Toys R Us. It just required the stickers and ladder to placed on it and an overnight charge.

Hope you figure out where the screw goes and your son enjoys the final product.
